Walk and Wade River Tours
Join our Orvis Endorsed fly fishing guides for a 4, 6, or 8 hour outing on one of Vermont's pristine trout streams. Under the watchful eye of your guide, you'll cast flies to wily brook, brown and rainbow trout amidst a most serene environment. Our Orvis Endorsed guides are seasoned fishermen who take pride in offering an exceptional level of service and professionalism to our guests.
We cater to all ages and ability levels and keep our client/guide ratio at no more than 4/1, insuring personalized attention from your guide.

Conventional Bass Fishing
We're proud to have partnered with local bass fishing pro, Matt Applebaum to offer world class conventional bass fishing outings on Vermont's inland lakes and reservoirs for the whole family! Matt operates a fully rigged, 21' Nitro bass boat and has won numerous bass tournaments in and around Vermont.

Lake Fishing - Fly Fishing
Vermont is LOADED with lakes and reservoirs of all sizes and we LOVE bass fishin'! Our boats our well maintained, US Coast Guard Approved and fully set up for fly fishing with casting platforms, trolling motors and plenty of room for a party of 2 anglers.

Catamount Fishing Adventures
Fly, Spin Casting & Boat Excursion
Catamount Fishing Adventures is a long time Stowe fly fishing and fishing guide service that offers fishing adventures from summer to winter. Catamount is the only Federation of Fly Fishers certified casting instructor in the region. Whether you want to cast a small dry fly to a rising trout or rip a large streamer fly for a large pursuing northern pike, Catamount has the experience and knowledge to offer a wide variety of trips.
Catamount provides guests with river and lake fishing adventures. Fly-fishing and spin fishing trips are offered. A 16' Grumman side consul motorboat and a fleet of canoes and float tubes can put anglers on some of our beautiful lakes and ponds for large surface feeding smallmouth bass. If you would like to wade in one of our local mountain brooks or larger trout streams for trout, no one in the area is better versed in catching our native fish than Catamount.
When you fish with Catamount Fishing Adventures a professional licensed guide who makes a living on the water will accompany you. Whether you are a seasoned veteran fisher or a beginning fly angler, Catamount has the skill and patience to format the perfect fishing trip for you.
Maximum 2 people on the boat and must be at least 10 years of age. Canoe fishing is for 1 person and float tube fishing is for 2 people. The river wade trips are for 1 to 4 people. $20.00 fee will be added for each individual participant to cover the cost of a 1-day, non-resident Vermont fishing license. 8-Hour tours include lunch.

Bottled water provided on all Green Mountain Troutfitter tours. Above rates do not include VT fishing license fees and/or guide gratuities. Credit card deposit and minimum 48 hours advance notice required for booking.
Cancellation Policy: Trips cancelled 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Trips cancelled 24 hours in advance will receive 50% refund of deposit. No-shows will be charged full deposit amount. All trips go out rain or shine unless conditions deemed unsafe or unfishable by guide. Full refund issued for weather related cancellations
