Stowe Mountain Lodge has partnered with the Helen Day Art Center, a local, member-supported art and education not-profit organization to offer Art Aprés - high quality creative visual art experiences for youth and adults, on-site at the Lodge Thursdays and Saturdays all winter. There is still time to experince this great way to end a day on the slopes!

Activities in the summer months in Vermont are unlimited. From hiking Mount Mansfield in our backyard, cycling our backroads and mountain bike trails to shopping trips to the boutiques in downtown Stowe. From its origin in the Alps to the present day, après ski has always been about bringing people together, sharing the day’s experiences and the proverbial cherry on top to the perfect powder day. I recently spent some time with my cousin at Hourglass Lounge for Après Ski at Stowe Mountain Lodge. Curling at Stowe Mountain Lodge!
There is a new sport in town. You’ve seen it played during the Winter Olympics since 1988. Matches are held on an icy surface called a sheet but it is not speed skating or hockey. It is a team sport which some people may say is similar to shuffleboard or bocce. It involves throwing rocks at a house. If you haven’t guessed it by now, it is the sport of curling.
