Recently, our Food and Beverage team here at Stowe Mountain Lodge hosted a truly special night for Vermont beer lovers. As I mentioned in my last blog, the main purpose behind wanting to do a beer dinner in Solstice was to be able to reach out to a local artisan, highlight their skill and hard work, and showcase it alongside our culinary teams skill and innovation.
Braising is by far my favorite method of cooking. Watching the transformation of ingredients into a wonderful meal is something that I never get tired of. New England has a long history with this cooking method, but before we get to our regional specialty, a little facts about braising:
