Joshua Nicholls, Golf Operations Manager
Josh came to Vermont from Massachusetts in 1990 to attend college. As an avid golfer during his youth, Josh began working part time at Stowe Country Club during his sophomore year in order to "get some free golf". In twenty years at the club Josh has performed almost every job from Golf Professional & Pro Shop Manager and he now finds himself in charge of the daily operations.
Dan Lehmann, Head Professional
Dan Lehmann leads the PGA staff at the Stowe Country Club. He joined SCC in 2005, after serving as head professional at Wildflower Golf Club for nine years, where he earned Facility Promoter of the Year and Teacher of the Year. Prior to this, he served as the head professional at the Fargo Country Club where he and his staff hosted the 1995 USGA Junior Championship. Lehmann also, lends his talents to the Vermont Golf Academy at Stowe, serving as its Director of Instruction. Lehmann grew up in Bemidji, MN, home of Paul and Babe.
Dan Ruane, Assistant Golf Professional
Dan Ruane is starting his sixth season at Stowe Country Club and his third as assistant golf professional. He is working toward PGA Class A status and is currently a PGA Level 2 apprentice. Dan can be found working at the club in many capacities. You will find him in the pro shop, teaching private lessons, and conducting one and two day golf schools for the Vermont Golf Academy at Stowe.
Ruane, a former University of Vermont Baseball standout, holds a bachelor's degree in Community Development and Applied Economics with a focus on Entrepreneurial Studies. An avid skier and a love for the outdoors is what attracted the New Jersey Shore native to the Green Mountain State.
