The Front Four Residences at Stowe Mountain Lodge will be situated on the top two floors of the Lodge, which upon its Spring 2008 opening will be Stowe's first new luxury resort hotel to open in more than four decades. The Front Four is a private residence club offering 34 shared ownership residences in two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations.

Stowe Mountain Lodge and the Front Four Residences will be the centerpiece of Spruce Peak at Stowe, a resort and residential community in development at the base of Spruce Peak and Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. The community, which is already gaining recognition as a model for sustainable development and environmental protection, is energizing the legendary town of Stowe, Vermont. In addition to the main lodge and Front Four Residences, a limited number of ski-in/ski-out Mountain Cabins and Homesites and the world-class golf, alpine and spa amenities of the all-new Stowe Mountain Club are in development.

OWNERSHIP:

Front Four residents purchase one-eighth deeded, fractional interest in a residence, which entitles owners to flexible and generous access throughout the year. Two weeks of winter usage, and two weeks of summer usage are guaranteed. An unlimited number of year-round visits is allowed, dependent upon availability.

Each of the Front Four residences is handsomely furnished with a luxurious mountain theme. Granite countertops and stone flooring add an elegantly rustic touch. Nine-foot ceilings and expansive windows and balconies maximize the sweeping mountain views. Other amenities include:

Golf: Designed by Bob Cupp, the 18-hole, par 72 Stowe Mountain Club Golf Course is the first in Vermont to achieve Audubon International Signature Sanctuary certification. The course spans 6,400 yards and is built into the mountainside, winding gently around a sparkling lake. A true "wilderness" course, all 18 holes are surrounded by 2,000 acres of protected land.

Alpine: The Front Four Residences at Stowe Mountain Lodge are situated in the heart of Stowe Mountain Resort, where skiing and snowboarding are considered among the best on the East Coast. Stowe Mountain Resort boasts 485 ski-able acres inclusive of 39 total miles of skiing and 48 different trails. The recent completion of a $40 million transformation brings state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment, high-speed lifts, new trails and a new transfer gondola which unites Spruce Peak with Mount Mansfield.

Spa and Fitness: Members of Stowe Mountain Club gain access to a 21,000-square-foot spa with a wellness center, indoor and outdoor therapy pools, a healing lodge, relaxation area, and 19 treatment rooms, including two harmony rooms with sound chairs for music therapy. Inspired by the natural surroundings of Vermont and the rustic elegance of the Green Mountains, the spa will bring nature inside by integrating the four seasons – winter, spring, summer and fall – into its décor and treatments.
