Destination Hotels & Resorts Welcomes Gail Campagna,
Director of Human Resources, to Executive Committee for
Stowe Mountain Lodge, Opening This Ski Season

Stowe, Vt. (July 17, 2007) – Destination Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Campagna as director of human resources for the new Stowe Mountain Lodge. The 139-room luxury lodge is currently being developed at the base of Vermont’s highest peak, Mt. Mansfield, and in the heart of the new Spruce Peak at Stowe alpine village. The first true luxury resort hotel to open in the northeast in more than 50 years, and the centerpiece of a development project that is the result of fifteen years of planning, this highly-anticipated property is scheduled to open in late fall 2007.

A Vermont native and Shelburne resident, Campagna brings to Stowe Mountain Lodge over two decades of human resources management experience.  Campagna started her career in the hospitality industry as the human resources director for the Radisson Hotel in Burlington, Vermont, and then went on to hold the same position at other properties throughout the state of Vermont, including the acclaimed Basin Harbor Club, a historic family-owned resort on Lake Champlain, and the Wyndham Hotel in Burlington. In 2005, Campagna accepted an opportunity to become the human resources manager for Regent Seven Seas Cruise Ships, a position that held her responsible for supporting and leading ship crews varying from 230 to 440 members, and training employees to offer six-star service.  Regent Resorts then requested her expertise in the role of senior human resources manager at The Palms Resort in Turks & Caicos, where she assisted to transition the resort into a Regent property, developed staffing guidelines and produced new employee recruiting and training programs.

James Horsman, Vice President / Managing Director for Stowe Mountain Lodge, said, “We are excited that Gail has joined our Stowe Mountain Lodge pre-opening team, as she understands luxury, five-star service and the mystique of Vermont better than any other HR professional in the area.  I am confident that she will help us recruit, train and mentor the finest ladies and gentlemen of any luxury resort in the country.”

The new Stowe Mountain Lodge is located at the heart of the lively Spruce Peak at Stowe alpine village in historic Stowe, Vermont.  Opening late fall 2007, the 139-room lodge will offer an exclusive 18-hole championship mountain golf course created by the legendary Bob Cupp, a luxurious spa, Cooper Wellness at Stowe, 12,100 square feet of thoughtfully-designed function space, concierges available to anticipate every need, twice-daily housekeeping, 24-hour in-room dining and artisan-inspired cuisine.  The lodge also will offer highly-customized services and personalized in-room amenities.  For more information, please contact Stowe Mountain Lodge at 802-253-3560 or visit online at www.stowemountainlodge.com.
