The possibilities around Stowe Mountain Lodge are astounding. Enjoy a relaxing walk on a nature path or a challenging Mount Mansfield summit. A fifteen minute hike or a full day adventure is at your fingertips within a short walk or drive of the lodge. Lace up and enjoy the experience at these popular Vermont vacation spots.
May through Mid-October is prime hiking time in Stowe with all the trails accessible. Private Guided Tours are available daily with advanced reservations. Guided tours will include Mount Mansfield Summit attempts, Sterling Pond, and other local peaks. Scheduled hikes are offered weekly. All guides are SOLO Wilderness First Aid and CPR Certified and dedicated to providing you with the best on-mountain service possible.
Scheduled Guided Tours - from $40 per person (up to 2.5 hours)
Private Guided Tours - $50 per person up to 2 guests; $40 per person for 3 or more guests
Mammut Adventure Pack Rental - $20
Feeling inspired? The majesty of the land right outside Stowe Mountain Lodge doors will inspire you to get out and experience it firsthand. If the unexpected mood strikes you, but you find yourself somewhat unprepared, the Recreation Department will have Mammut Adventure Packs available for you to rent for the day.

Mammut Backpack
First aid kit
Rain ponchos
Water
Visit the gourmet coffee shop Schuss and grab a snack or a full lunch to go out with you.
