Design and create the sled of your dreams. Using design principles, cardboard, foam board, duct tape, paint, recycled materials and plenty of wild and wonderful imagination, campers will transform a regular everyday sled into a fantastical creature, a futuristic vehicle, a favorite food or something just as wacky. Sketches, research, mock-ups, and color design give way to construction, testing, polishing and presenting. Sleds find personality with wings, fins, a tail or anything else that can be thought up! The possibilities are endless! At the end of the week, parents and family members will be invited to stop in and join campers at Memorial Park to test sleds out! Sleds must be provided by participants.
