Nine, the musical with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Arthur Kopit, is the story of famous director Guido Contini. He is dealing with a mid-life crisis in the midst of trying to save his marriage and create his greatest film. His journey leads him on a path of discovery about what women mean to him, and how they have shaped his life. The story is based on Frederico Fellini's semi-autobiographical film "8 1/2."
