Kirchner Woods Snowshoe
Saturday, March 15, 2014
9 – 11 am
The trails at Kirchner Woods meander through a forest of towering sugar maples that were once managed as a sugar bush by Jerry Kirchner. Evidence of the maple sugaring operation is still visible – with stacks of sap buckets and lids, an old sugar house and sap collection sites just off the trail. Please meet in the Kirchner Woods parking area and be sure to bring your own equipment.
