Amy Goodman is the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!, a daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 1,200 public television and radio stations worldwide. In 2012 she received the Gandhi Peace Award, and is the first journalist to receive the Right Livelihood Award, widely known as the “Alternative Nobel Prize.” She is the author of five books, including the 2012 The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope. Goodman will be in conversation with Vermont journalist and bestselling author David Goodman.
