3rd Annual Darn Tough Ride
This year's scenic century bicycle adventure will once again see the riders complete a loop starting in Stowe, over Mt. Mansfield, to Jeffersonville, Eden, Belvidere and back over Smugglers Notch. The Darn Tough Ride features challenging ascents, exhilarating descents, and of course plenty of camaraderie.
The cycling event has been a huge success and very popular with all participants since its creation three years ago. It also raised over $20,000 to support the Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy in the past two years. In 2014, the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum and Friends of Stowe Adaptive Sports will be the recipient of a portion of the proceeds from the event, and the Commodores Inn on South Main street will serve as a new home base.
