Royal Wedding Fashion Tips from Calais Lovejoy
With the Royal Wedding only days away, I wanted to take this opportunity to chat about one of my favorite things about the future princessā¦..her unabashed obsession with hats and āfascinatorsā - a particularly ornate hair accessory that can feature feathers, beads, flowers and other fancy trimmings. It is usually small and whimsical, not quite substantial enough to be called a hat, but with abundant personality to leave an impression!
Although these accessories are undoubtedly British, and I am sure that we will see an abundance of hats and feathery accessories in attendance at the Royal Wedding on Friday, I believe that we will see a huge upswing in the presence of these accessories for the coming wedding season.Ā Especially taking the place of the traditional veil or replacing the veil following the ceremony and even (fingers-crossed) adorning the crowns of the Brideās āmaids.ā
One of my favorite websites, www.stylemepretty.com recently featured some bits of loveliness from Powder Blue Bijoux. Check it outā¦.
The 2011 collection is full of elegance and attitude - two things Stowe Mountain Lodge Brides seem to be focused on; looking elegant and gorgeous, but at the same time showing their true colors, style and ātude! Ahhhhā¦ā¦Bliss!!!!
I am counting down the minutes to the unveiling of Kateās gown and all other details of the Royal Wedding! Future, current and recent brides, keep your eyes peeled for āhead-wareā and other bridal fashions on Friday and be sure to bring your own flair to your next trip to Stowe, Vermont!
Happy Viewing!
