Peak Vermont Foliage on Vermont's Highest Peak, Mt. Mansfieldphoto

With the cool nights and sunny days ahead, the stage is set for a brilliant display of fall foliage in Vermont at higher elevations, such as at the top of Mt. Mansfield.

Lower elevations are also showing well at this time, with Sugar Maples shining their bright orange. Specimen Ash trees around Stowe Mountain Resort are revealing a magnificent yellow. Spots of red are starting to show from Red Maple and  Serviceberry trees. I anticipate near peak conditions to develop in the week ahead; I for one will be hiking this weekend!

Andre Blais, or as our housekeeping team refers to him, Father Nature, is our resident expert on all things green, including when foliage will be peak this year at Stowe Mountain Lodge. We hope to see you soon for this spectacular time of year!
