Want more from your workout in less time? The Stowe Mountain Lodge’s health and wellness team have put together a new class that does just that.
The BOSU (both sides utilized) ball makes every exercise extra challenging, therefore giving you a more efficient workout in a short amount of time. “That’s why we started this class,” says Rebecca Rahilly, fitness instructor at The Spa and Wellness Center at Stowe Mountain Lodge and instructor for BOSU Blast. “We wanted to come up with a very challenging total body workout for those who don’t have a lot of time or who want to be outside more and in the gym less.”
Since Stowe Mountain Lodge is all about getting their guests and club members outside, enjoying all that Vermont has to offer, this class is perfect and fits right into the Stowe lifestyle, while also making you work REALLY hard before going about your day. But REALLY hard in a good way!
The class consists of several BOSU stations that work different areas of the body-core, glutes, back, arms and legs-whiles also helping class participants in increasing their balance and agility.
With a flat platform on one side and a rubber dome on the other, the BOSU adds an element of instability to a workout, therefore working your core with every move. But the key to this class is consistency. It’s important to do these exercises regularly to build up your strength and balance. So come see us in the fitness center at Stowe Mountain Lodge for a quick Bosu Blast instruction and you’ll be on your way to a stronger and better body in no time. And we literally mean no time, since the class is just 30 minutes. C’mon and join us-it will be over before you know it!
Bosu Blast is offered at the Fitness Center at Stowe Mountain Lodge on a weekly basis. View our group exercise schedule or call 802-760-4783 for more information.
