Autumn is Upon Us!

To celebrate the first day of autumn, we give you the first foliage update of the season!
The leaves are turning on the eastern flanks of Mt. Mansfield, with subtle hues of orange and yellow taking the lead. Spots of red are forming in the drainage basins of Angel Food, The Mini Boo’s, & Hellbrook, with The Three Amigos closely behind. A trip to Boston this weekend revealed brilliant foliage in Northern Massachusetts & Southern New Hampshire, with Vermont lagging behind significantly.
Many theories exist on what makes a good foliage season. All are valid, some backed by science, others backed by opinion, but one thing is for sure - The view from Stowe Mountain Lodge is breathtaking.
