ADVENTURE ~ Autumn

Here at Stowe Mountain Lodge, fall foliage isn’t just a natural occurance, it’s a life changing event. Consequently, there is no better place to view Mother Nature’s exhibition than Stowe.
And, there is no more invigorating way to view Vermont’s breathtaking fall foliage than by water. Hop into a canoe and traverse a sparkling lake, or kayak across a river.
Grab your fleece jacket, and go for a jog along our 5.5 mile Recreation Path. Hike up the Pinnacle Trail, The Long Trail or Wiessner Woods, or go for an adventurous mountain bike ride down Old County Road, Stowe Hollow and Brownsville.
Allow one of our fly fishing sherpas to take you out to a local stream, and concentrate on catching some of the finest trout, bass and pike while we take care of organizing your equipment, licensing and transportation.
Enjoy red and white wine and hard cider locally-made from Vermont grapes, apples and maple syrup at the Boyden Valley Winery or Grand View Winery. Arrive via canoe, and we’ll arrange for your ride home.
And don’t forget about our 18-hole championship mountain golf course designed by the legendary Bob Cupp, or our world-class spa and wellness center.
